Liquefied gas transport services – by rail throughout Europe

For transporting liquefied gas, we have a hired-in fleet of over 1,200 rail tank cars throughout Europe, which we make available to our customers as required. Our annual LPG transport volume is 1.1m tonnes.

Our LPG fleet is deployed mainly in Germany and the Benelux area, but with our wagon pools we also realise pan-European liquefied gas transport services.

Transpetrol is one of the largest European liquefied gas forwarders for imports from Russia to Western Europe. We organise at the relevant borders and terminals the transition from Russian wide gauge to European standard gauge plus further services such as pre-carriage and customs clearance.

Transpetrol’s wagon pool offers many advantages for European liquid gas producers and dealers: apart from the short-term availability of the wagons and prompt transmission of notifications of dispatch, this solution also optimises the transport procedure.
