Internet usage conditions of Transpetrol GmbH

1.	General use
	Using and calling up the Transpetrol website is subject to the following terms and conditions. Transpetrol does not acknowledge conflicting conditions unless something else has been expressly agreed in writing. These terms and conditions apply for all parts and contents of the Transpetrol website.
2.	Copyrights
	All rights to the design and contents of this website always remain with Transpetrol and are subject to copyright law and other laws on the protection of intellectual property. Copying and downloading the website or parts thereof is permitted only for private use by the user provided that Transpetrol does not request the user to act differently (e.g., downloading specific forms or information). Copying, changing or otherwise using the website for commercial purposes, in particular passing on for payment, is in any case prohibited.
3.	Collecting and processing personal data
	When you visit our website, our web servers save on a standard basis the IP address, the contents downloaded and the date and the time. Personal data is saved only if you give us this yourself, e.g. for a registration, a survey or carrying out a contract. Passing on to third parties, for commercial or non- commercial purposes, is not permitted.
4.	Use and passing on of personal data and purpose
	Transpetrol uses your personal data for the technical administration of the website, customer administration, product surveys and marketing only to the extent required in each case. Collecting or transmitting personal data to state institutions and public authorities is effected only under compelling national legal regulations via our data protection officer. Our employees are obliged by us to maintain secrecy in accordance with the federal data protection law.
5.	References
	Transpetrol satisfied itself in February 2006 about the contents of other internet pages to which there are links or hyperlinks and identified nothing unlawful. However, the links are "living" links. Transpetrol is not obliged constantly to study the content referred to for changes. Only if it is determined or pointed out by other parties that a specific offer to which there is a link might result in a civil or criminal case will Transpetrol suspend this reference if this is technically possible and reasonable for it. It is expressly pointed out that Transpetrol has no influence of any kind on the design and contents of the pages linked to our website. For this reason, Transpetrol distances itself from all contents of and editorial responsibility for all linked pages of the Transpetrol website. All references and links are effected exclusively for non-binding information and service purposes without Transpetrol agreeing with their contents.
6.	No liability for wrong information
	Even if we assume that the information provided by us is applicable, it can still contain errors or inaccuracies. Transpetrol is not liable for the correctness of the information on the website of Transpetrol or consequences resulting from the use of this information. The information is provided only for service purposes. In particular, no monitoring duties or obligations transferred contractually to business partners of Transpetrol are changed via existing service offers of the Transpetrol website. There is no warranty, express or implicit.

	Transpetrol is not liable for any technical breakdown or failures outside its area of influence.

	Access to and use of pages of this website protected by a password or otherwise secured is permitted only to authorized persons.
9.	Applicable law/venue
	Exclusively German law applies for the use of the Transpetrol website. The venue for all disputes resulting from the use of the website is Hamburg, Germany.
10.	Communication via e-mail
	Note on our own behalf: E-mails may contain confidential and/or legally protected information. Please note that uncoded e-mails can in principle also be read everywhere by unauthorized persons. Confidential information and/or person-related data/files should therefore not be sent via the internet. We are thus not liable for the intactness of e-mails after they have left our area of control and cannot replace any damage resulting from this for you. If we receive an e-mail from you, we assume that we are entitled to an answer by e-mail, otherwise we have to refer you expressly to another type of communication. We are not liable for any damage that may result from a virus entering your systems with the sending of e-mails despite the virus protection programs we use. This exclusion of liability applies only in so far as it is permitted by law.
